I read with interest your article on bird migration and would like to mention that at the back of my house there is a small pond which has plenty of frogs and catfish. I noticed that a pair of storks (am not sure the species) keep visiting this pond and watching for hours for a catfish to come up for air. I also noticed that they always come from a fixed direction (NW) and depart toward the opposite direction (SW). They must be flying towards Florida during the winter and returning in early summer.
