I am very much interested in such an app. Flash and SD storage have similar issue with data deletion as the floppy disks of old and the HD have. Good work. I like the idea of an encrypted data container and a mechanism just to delete the key.
The SHREDroid app seems to have many issues according to the comments in the app store. Since this app is actually deleting data and there are issues with the UI, the functions of the app, seemingly hung or stuck background processes as well as the lack of control of it, it does not seem to be ready for prime time yet. Even for experienced Android and Mod ROM users.
