Dear Alfredo Picariello, first of all I'd like to thank you for your most inspiring contributions to ETH Life in 2011. Reading and re-reading them is pure joy! I am sure you know the aphorism "the road to hell is paved with good intentions"... but I have another suggestion which could serve as an answer to your writ above: "Disciplina con passione", merging the two is just a question of getting one's mindset framed that way, to let one's "feu sacré" energize everything we do, every single activity and exercise, and additional calories will be melting away like butter in the sun...
