Ideology? One line for nuclear energy

The title of the article was three "Es", the last one being "Electrification." I find one line in the text of maybe 100 lines saying "Aber auch die Kernenergie wird in das Szenario der CO2-armen Stromerzeugung miteinbezogen." The rest is the usual list of politically correct wishes (not necessarily achievable realities) about saving energy, renewables (to produce electricity - I have no problems with solar heating of houses, etc.) and ways to store CO2 - is this really THE long-term solution? I find it rather amazing that on purely idelological, almost religious grounds, the nuclear option (that has been real for some 50 years and is available TODAY, not some beautiful "Zukunftsmusik" ) is so easily set aside... Reluctantly, I guess, one line... but we are making progress, starting from zero lines.
